Ty does so well with independent play. I'm really lucky in that regard. He prefers using a pen instead of crayons or markers (well...I'm not sure about markers because he often arrives home from daycare with lots of markings on his hands!) He is often interested in being a "big kid" and now has started to imitate me too. It is hilarious! Especially when he puts on my shoes and tries to walk around or he will use just about anything as a phone and start laughing really loud. I guess the phrase "Monkey see Monkey do" comes from this stage of parenting.
