I did a lot of hiking this summer with Events & Adventures. It was great to spend time outdoors on the weekends. These are the views of the St. Croix!

Yes, I have done it again...gone to see another series of DMB concerts. This time it was Alpine Valley in Wisconsin, and it ended up being just as random as the last. These are some of the pictures from the weekend. I met these people on Sat morning, spent five hours in the car on the way to the venue with them and enjoyed great weather and good music perfect strangers. I'm not one to tailgate either, so it was a new experience.




The stage presence was great. I'm such a huge fan. He just knows how to dance and sing such sweet melodies. The set list included a lot of their older stuff and a great cover of the crowd pleaser "Sledgehammer".

Metaphor

During our coach training program, we decided to have a little fun and learn about using metaphors in coaching conversations. We talked about a canoe trip - the journey, the moving waters, forming a partnership with another person, finding balance in life and in the canoe, etc. The teams were divided up and we had a race too! It was so convenient to have this resource at our building.
