My friends planned an amazing benefit to help raise money for medical and education expenses for Tyrin. I was blown away by the turnout and the donations. There was a raffle and silent auction with fabulous prizes. The event was held at a Bistro in Chanhassen (School of the Wise II) and there were even a bunch of online donations. I think what surprised me the most was the broad array of people who contributed...some friends/family/colleagues who I see frequently and many who I haven't talked to in years! I'm so lucky to have this kind of support. Being a single parent is challenging - both financially and emotionally. The relief that comes with this is indescribable. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
