Cochlear Implant
I like this picture because it show off his implant in the mirror...
Things are going well with our visits to U of MN audiology. The last appointment we had was pretty exciting. He showed good progress with "Conditioned Play Audiometry" meaning he would listen for a sound and then demonstrate hearing it by putting an object in a box (or a ring on a stacked set). His teacher from Northern Voices attended the visit, so it was nice to have input from someone who spends a good amount of time observing his daily activities. His device is programmed well and we are still working to bring his Right ear within a higher range to equate with his Left.
