Ear tubes

Ty had lots of fluid build up in his ears, which wasn't helpful for testing the effectiveness of hearing aids. His Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) doctor recommended that he have tubes put in to resolve the issue. We spent the day at Children's Hospital and the surgery went great. Ty was a good patient - he was so curious about everything and really charmed the nurses! I was most nervous about the anesthesia and the fact that he couldn't eat for several hours. He didn't cry once!


Can you tell that the lights and flashing numbers on all the medical equipment was appealing to him?!
